To comply with the CLIA requirements for maintaining clinical specimen temperature during transport and upon receipt, SHL will verify that specimens are arriving to the laboratory at the temperature requirements stated.
If specimens are not received at the required temperatures, they will be subject to rejection, the submitter will be notified, and an electronic report will be sent explaining the rejection and to recollect following the SHL website storage and shipping instructions.
