All three State Hygienic Lab locations (Coralville, Ankeny, and Lakeside) are closed in observance of the 4th of July Holiday:

If it is an emergency, please contact the State Hygienic Laboratory Duty Officer via Campus Security at 319-335-5022. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Sample receipt Lockers are available from 6:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th at the Coralville facility only.
- Both refrigerated and non-refrigerated lockers are available in the Sample Receiving vestibule.
- Instructions are located on the wall next to the locker system.
The following services will continue as usual during these days:
Newborn Screening testing is performed seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. For Newborn screening questions please call 515-725-1632 or 515-725-1635 for assistance.
Critical and outbreak testing will be performed on weekends and holidays as needed.
