All three State Hygienic Lab locations (Coralville, Ankeny, and Lakeside) are closed in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday:

If it is an emergency, please contact the State Hygienic Laboratory Duty Officer via Campus Security at 319-335-5022. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Sample receipt Lockers are available from 6:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, May 25th at the Coralville facility.
- Both refrigerated and non-refrigerated lockers are available in the Sample Receiving vestibule.
- Instructions are located on the wall next to the locker system.
- Newborn Screening testing is performed seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. For Newborn screening questions please call 515-725-1632 or 515-725-1635 for assistance.
The following services will continue as usual during these days:
- Critical and outbreak testing will be performed on weekends and holidays as needed.
- The courier will run as usual, for Clinical and Newborn Screening questions over the holidays and weekend call STAT Courier Dispatch at 636-561-2518 or dispatch@stat-courier.com.
