In observance of the Independence Day holiday, the State Hygienic Laboratory will be open as follows.

*Throughout the holidays, the State Hygienic Laboratory will accession samples that are transported by the courier. The courier will run as usual throughout the holidays.

In the event of an emergency, call 319-335-4500 and follow instructions for contacting the Duty Officer. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Newborn screening is performed daily. Critical and outbreak testing is performed on weekends and holidays as necessary.
