Implementation of MPS1 and Pompe Newborn Screening

May 9, 2023 -- The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (IHHS) has authorized the Iowa Newborn Screening Program (INSP) to begin routine screening for Mucopolysaccharidosis type 1 (MPS1) and Glycogen storage disease type 2 (Pompe) on specimens received 05/15/2023. Read more...
